Queen Anne-Hillsboro, along with Cordova and Easton Volunteer Fire Companies, participate in a combined live fire drill near Easton Airport this month.  Opportunities to train new members in live fire situations are rare and extremely important to maintain proficiency and promote safety.  Members involved get valuable experience with breathing apparatus, search and rescue and fire suppression techniques.  This type of realistic training is supervised by training instructors from the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI).
